A report of a large fossil fin-spine of a fossil fish (length 5", breadth 1/2") found in Cornstone of Old Red Sandstone at Llidiart-y-Warn quarry under Mouse Castle Wood, Cusop by Mr David Jones which was left out to weather. Sometime in the 1860's.

"On a New Fish-spine from the Lower Old Red Sandstones of Hay, Breconshire by the Rev. W.S. Symonds, F.G.S."
