Old Cusop Brickyard

Many thanks to Peter Lloyd at Brickyard Cottage at the top of Cusop Dingle for these photos The first one is of the brickworks when they were in operation. This is some time after 1886 but before 1903. The other is of Brickyard Cottage with L-R Harriett Dance, husband Thomas Dance and son Thomas Samuel George Dance. Thomas is shown in the 1911 census as 'Gamekeeper' and here are father and son ready for action.
