History of Kington Camp Talk

Tonight at Cusop Village Hall at 7pm, we welcome Mari Fforde who will bring to life the interesting history of Kington Camp in an illustrated talk. Mari will be talking about how the now crumbling remains of the concrete and brick huts on the Hergest Road into Kington served as a vital home to huge numbers of British, Polish and American troops from the 1930s to the 1950s. Mari’s research has also revealed an exciting find which adds to the amazing story of Kington Camp. Be sure not to miss it. Entry £3 includes refreshments. All welcome.
