June 5th 2026 Day 1, 'Exploring the origins of Cusop'. Getting the Dig underway First day of the Cusop Dig at Cusop Castle site, and after a briefing by Tim we got busy removing the turf from the first few of the 6 marked out trenches. In the morning the Cusop History Castle team of Sue, Jane B, Jane P, Rosie and Linda got stuck in and joined the first two volunteers Leonie and Adelaide.
